New Costco members can now get a $50 Shop Card through Aug. 2

Through Aug. 2, eligible new members can receive a $50 Digital Costco Shop Card when they purchase a qualifying annual membership through the promotion, effectively lowering the cost of joining the warehouse club.New members who sign up for either a Gold Star Membership for $65 or an Executive Gold Star Membership for $130 through the StackSocial promotion by Aug. 2 will receive a $50 Digital Costco Shop Card. Unlike previous promotions that offered different reward amounts depending on the membership tier, both plans now qualify for the same $50 digital reward.To qualify, members must provide a valid email address when enrolling so Costco can deliver the Digital Costco Shop Card electronically. The promotion is also available to former Costco members whose memberships have been expired for more than 18 months. Members also gain access to Costco’s warehouse pricing on groceries, electronics, furniture, appliances, home goods, clothing and other everyday essentials, as well as fuel at participating Costco gas stations.The Executive Gold Star Membership includes all of the benefits of the standard membership while adding an annual 2% reward on eligible Costco purchases, up to the program’s annual maximum.
