She started her journey in entertainment media in 2022 when she first joined Valnet at CBR before coming to ScreenRant. Jennifer loves TV, especially science fiction. She also loves late-night talk shows, due to her insomnia. Alien: Earth is definitely one of her favorite shows, and she jumps on any chance she gets to write about it. Even on her days off, she will claim an Alien Earth article if one is available. Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are two of her favorite late-night hosts, and Conan O'Brien before he left his show. Her Alien: Earth coverage for ScreenRant is by far the work that she is most proud of so far. She was initially a finance and political editor, but her passion for pop culture convinced her to transition into entertainment journalism. During her off time, she loves to binge-watch cooking shows such as Kitchen Nightmares. Jennifer also loves spending time with her daughter and cherishes every moment of it. The X-Men are hitting the big screen, and a new preview offers an up-close look at their costumes in. Hot Toys' Collectibles US distributor, Sideshow Collectibles, recently announced that pre-orders are now available for several officially licensed action figures of characters from the upcoming MCU film, Avengers: Doomsday. First-look images were released in a video on its social media account, revealing very detailed designs of what Magneto, Cyclops, Doctor Doom, Doctor Doom's throne, and Magneto will look like in the movie. Additionally, both in the video and at Sideshow Collectible's San Diego Comic-Con booth, several other characters will join the aforementioned characters in the new line of toys. However, pre-orders for the other figures that have been showcased are not available for pre-order just yet at the time of this article's publication. The figures include Professor X, Beast, as well as a Sentinel. Each of the 1:6-scale collectibles will have standard and deluxe edition versions. The deluxe figures feature extra accessories and more detailed display bases. For example, the Deluxe Edition of Cyclops has a jacket that can be taken on and off inspired by the 90s' iteration of the classic mutant. According to Sideshow's official website, these collectibles will be available to ship between October 2026 and March 2027, meaning that some of these figures might not be available until months after Avengers: Doomsday release in December 2026. However, the standard version of Doctor Doom will be released sooner than the others and will be released in time for the upcoming Marvel superhero film. Avengers: Doomsday serves as a follow-up to 2019’s Avengers: Endgame and will be the 39th installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and written by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely. Robert Downey Jr. returns as Doctor Doom after portraying Tony Stark for several years. While most of the story remains shrouded in mystery, the film brings together the Avengers, Wakandans, New Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men from across multiple universes as they join forces to fight Doom. Hot Toys' Magneto, Cyclops, Doctor Doom, and Doctor Doom's throne are available for pre-order now on Sideshow's official site. Avengers: Doomsday will be released on December 18, 2026, and December 17, 2026, in select theaters.
