Avatar co-creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino are listed as showrunners, with Avatar Studios and Nickelodeon Animation Studios handling production.As reported by Variety, the show’s logline is as follows: “A rebellious teenage Avatar bucks thousands of years of tradition by choosing to learn the four elements through globetrotting adventures, staying one step ahead of his angry teacher, rowdy pirates, and chaotic spirits – all while helping the world in his own unique ways.”Avatar Kuruk: Wave of Chaos First-Look ImagesParamount also shared a few first-look images at Avatar Kuruk at New York Comic-Con, which show Kurk waterbending, taking in a view of the Northern Water Tribe Capital, and an image of his koala-like animal companion, Nikik.Taking a shot at recent online leaks about the project during the NYCC panel, Konietzko said it will be the franchise’s first action-comedy. The panel also pulled back the curtain on the Avatar shows' production process, showing fans a special “script to screen” clip that was a visual explainer on how a scene of the series moves from the printed page to finished animation. The clip is now available on YouTube for all Avatar fans to enjoy. Fighting game fans got their own moment. Varney unveiled new Seven Havens colorways for the full playable roster of Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, along with a new stage based on Sonam’s temple. This news coincides with Avatar: Seven Havens getting renewed for two additional seasons, bringing the total to four. The first three episodes in season one premiered today, October 9, on Paramount+, and three episodes will air weekly every Friday through October 30.
