Marking 15 years of the popular Ryan Murphy-created horror anthology series, American Horror Story season 13's cast has assembled numerous franchise legends to reprise some of the most iconic characters from previous seasons. While certain figures like Coven's surviving witches and Murder House's Tate Langdon returned more recently in season 8's Apocalypse, other American Horror Story icons like Jessica Lange's Fiona Goode are back for the first time in well over a decade, and some long-absent locations are returning alongside them. Ahead of the ultimate crossover season's premiere on September 14, FX has now followed up American Horror Story season 13's epic official trailer with a new teaser. While showcasing new footage of the various classic American Horror Story anthology characters who will be returning in the upcoming episodes, the trailer also reveals that Fiona Goode's personal hell, the knotty pine cabin from season 3's Coven, is finally back: In American Horror Story: Coven's ending, Lange's Fiona Goode died after battling cancer. When she woke up in the afterlife, she found herself living in an unfashionable home near the swamp with The Axeman living through eternity alongside her, revealing her personal hell courtesy of Papa Legba. Now one of the most iconic quotes from American Horror Story, a horrified Fiona looked at the walls' design screaming, "Knotty pine?" Not only is former Supreme witch Fiona Goode back in season 13, but latest teaser shows her still crying with the knotty pine walls of the cabin behind her. Considering Orlando Jones is also set to return as Papa Legba, with ScreenRant having unveiled the first look of his return in exclusive American Horror Story season 13 images, it seems likely that Fiona and Papa Legba will reunite in the cabin, though it's still unclear if Danny Huston will reprise his role as The Axeman. More to come...
