New $695 Pokémon Release Officially Confirmed for 2027

In fact, most of us are still trying to collect the latest 30th Celebration set for the Pokémon Trading Card Game. However, that doesn't mean the storied franchise isn't looking ahead to next year. In fact, fans already have a few releases in 2027 to keep tabs on. That includes a newly-revealed premium item that will cost you almost $700 to obtain. Pokémon, of course, is no stranger to premium releases. A number of these have included life-sized versions of fan-favorite Pokémon, including a life-sized Vaporeon that released for over $300 a few years back, or the Gardevoir and Lucario plushes that both released for around $350. Of course, none of those come close to the $695 price tag of this 2027 release. New Snorlax Diorama Is A Beautiful Collectible A new Snorlax Diorama is releasing from Sideshow Collectibles. Made of polystone, the diorama is almost perfectly 13" x 13.63"x13.19". In addition to Snorlax, the sculpture features Pikachu, Eevee, Munchlax, Slowpoke, and many more beloved Pokémon for a total of ten. There's even an Applin hiding in the tree. You can watch the clip above to see the detail that went into making the collectible. The official description reads: Beneath the branches of a leafy green tree and beside a lush blue pond, Pokémon are snacking and snoozing. These hungry friends share bountiful bunches of Oran, Sitrus, Tamato, and Pecha berries. Snorlax, Eevee, Pikachu, and Slowpoke can all be seen napping comfortably while Skwovet, Greedent, Munchlax, and Gulpin enjoy the food. Be sure to keep an eye out for Applin, hidden in a pile of berries, and Sewaddle, which can be spotted behind the tree. With delightful details at every angle, this circular diorama captures a colorful look into the Pokémon world. The item is limited to 2 per person, and there are payment options available. That last part is pretty nice, considering the Snorlax Diorama is listed as $695. For example, the Flex Pay option shows for as little as $78.19 a month. Note that this price doesn't include shipping, which you'll have to calculate by putting in your address. 2027 Is Going To Be A Huge Year For Pokémon The Snorlax Diorama from Sideshow Collectibles is expected to ship between May and August 2027. While this premium product may not be for everyone, it's just one of many releases for Pokémon scheduled for next year. Most notably, the Gen 10 games Pokémon Winds and Waves will release in 2027, with leaks alleging the games will launch in November, a fairly common release month for the long-running franchise. Rumors have also been swirling of the Johto games arriving on Nintendo's eShop for Switch and Switch 2, and long-standing Gen 5 remakes for Pokémon Black and White are still going strong (but still unconfirmed). That's not including the new movie, anime episodes, and Pokémon TCG releases we'll see next year, and it also doesn't include the various merchandise that will surely drop.
