One said on X: “Don’t think I’ve even seen anything quite like this.” Another added: “Fair to say he will need a new pair of boots.” A third commented: “Colby Donovan’s boot just snapped in two.” And another posted a picture of the broken boot and joked: “Has to be one of the worst injuries I’ve ever seen and Colby Donovan brushes it off like it didn’t happen.” The teenager ended up playing the full 90 minutes of Celtic’s win as Martin O’Neill‘s side clinched three straight victories.
