According to Deadline, Man on Fire still faces an uncertain future, even though it performed well for Netflix. Discussions are ongoing, and a renewal or cancellation decision will be made at a future date. Before this new update, though, there was speculation that the show would be canceled. Netflix recently released its What We Watched the First Half of 2026 report, which revealed that Man on Fire garnered 40.4 million views during its first two months and became the eighth most-watched show during the January to June 2026 timeframe. Man on Fire debuted at No. 1 among English series when it was released on April 30 and remained in the Top 10 for five weeks. With that type of viewership, it would seem like a season 2 renewal would be an obvious call, but there's been no word on why a final verdict is taking this long. More to come...
