The actor and filmmaker's newest movie, Animals, is coming soon, as Netflix reveals a pulse-pounding trailer for the upcoming crime thriller. The Affleck-led movie sees him portraying Mark Kimball, a mayoral candidate in Los Angeles whose son is kidnapped. He and his wife are given mere hours to get money for a ransom, despite having spent most of what they had on his mayoral campaign. This forces them to reveal an uncouth part of their lives in order to save their son. Affleck also directs the movie and serves as a co-writer alongside Connor O. McIntyre and Billy Ray. Now, Netflix has released the full trailer for Animals, unveiling more information about Affleck's new movie. The movie sees Affleck's Mark making a variety of promises to the people of Los Angeles. The trailer focuses on how his promises for the city may not be realistic, or have a slant certain people may not like. This comes right before his son is kidnapped, leading his campaign advisor, played by Gillian Anderson, to reveal what he and his wife, played by Kerry Washington, must do: Reveal their darkest secrets to each other.
