Nestle axes ‘fan favourite’ chocolate sharing bags from shelves after just 4 years

NESTLE has axed a popular treat from supermarket shelves after just four years. The bitesize bubbly treats disappeared late last year and, sadly for fans, will not be returning. The flat, disc-shaped chocolates were filled with the signature Aero aerated chocolate and covered in a chocolate shell. Aero Melts flavours included chocolate, Neapolitan ice cream, caramel, double chocolate brownie, orange and golden honeycomb. But its sad news for sweet-toothed shoppers as the popular products were discontinued at the back end of 2025. A spokesperson for Nestle told The Sun: “While Aero Melts are no longer available, there are plenty of exciting new products for Aero fans to enjoy. “We’ve been strengthening our popular Aero Bubbles lineup, which now includes Orange Flavour Bubbles, Caramel Flavour Bubbles and Aero Milkybar Bubbles alongside Peppermint Bubbles.” The bubble-filled chocolate first landed on the supermarket shelves in 1935, and is known for its aerated core. Most read in Money Launching originally as a peppermint-flavoured chocolate bar, shoppers could get their hands on a milk chocolate version in 1970. The brand now boasts a range of sweet treats, including Aero Bubbles, Aero Hot Chocolate and Aero Chocolate Mousse. Comment now
