NEET PG 2026 results out. Check cut-off details, scorecard from October 1

The NEET PG Result 2026 has been declared by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) today, September 24. Candidates who appeared for the postgraduate medical entrance examination can now check their NEET PG 2026 result through the official NBEMS website.The result contains the raw scores obtained by candidates and their NEET PG 2026 rank. The exam is conducted for admission to MD, MS, DNB, DrNB Direct 6 Years Courses and PG Medical Diploma courses for the 2026-27 admission session.The NEET PG 2026 examination was conducted on August 30 across the country. A total of 2,63,544 candidates appeared for the exam.However, candidates at two test centres in Jaipur could not complete their examination because of an internal power failure at iON Digital Zone IDZ Sitapura. A re-examination was subsequently conducted in Jaipur on September 5, with 2,416 candidates appearing. NEET PG 2026 CUT-OFF: CHECK MARKSThe NEET PG 2026 qualifying cut-off has also been released. For General and EWS candidates, the minimum qualifying requirement is the 50th percentile, corresponding to 262 marks out of 720.For General PwBD candidates, the qualifying requirement is the 45th percentile, corresponding to 244 marks. NBEMS said scorecards will remain available for six months from the date of issuance, after which they will no longer be hosted on its website. Candidates have therefore been advised to preserve their scorecards for future reference.The NEET PG 2026 answer key will also be published on or after October 1. Candidates will be able to access their question IDs, correct answer key IDs, marked response IDs and the score awarded for each question through their individual applicant login.HOW TO CHECK NEET PG RESULT 2026Candidates can follow these steps to check the NEET PG 2026 result:Visit the official NBEMS website.Open the NEET PG 2026 section.Click on the result link.The NEET PG Result 2026 will appear on the screen.Check your raw score and NEET PG rank.Download or save the result for future reference.The NEET PG rank represents the candidate's overall merit position among all candidates who appeared for the examination. NBEMS said the rank has been calculated using the actual marks obtained and the applicable tie-breaking criteria mentioned in the information bulletin.WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?For State Quota seats, the final merit list and category-wise merit list will be prepared by the respective States and Union Territories according to their eligibility criteria, applicable regulations and reservation policies.NBEMS has also said that candidature remains provisional and is subject to fulfilment of the eligibility requirements.
