‘Needs another fight’ – Team Fury member calls for delay to Anthony Joshua fight after threat to cancel bout issued

A MEMBER of Tyson Fury’s team has publicly called for the Gypsy King’s showdown with Anthony Joshua to be delayed. But Joshua, 37, was dropped TWICE by the unknown Prenga before flatlining him with a devastating right hand. The manner in which AJ was felled in his first fight since almost dying in a horrific car crash last December, which claimed the lives of two of his best friends, has many believing the Watford warrior isn’t physically or mentally ready to go toe-to-toe with Fury. And that belief is held by Fury’s cousin, Hughie, who told Boxing King Media: “I think it’s dangerous. “I think Joshua needs another fight to be honest with you. “He needs another warm-up fight. “But at the end of the day it’s got to happen now or never, hasn’t it. There might even be a situation where they go for it and do announce it. “And you will probably see me coming out quite quickly and say, ‘No fight’. “I promise you, if they announce that fight without an agreement in place to change the venue, there will be no fight and we ain’t bluffing.” “We feel really strongly that this fight should be in the UK.” Comment now
