The CBS series, which is the sixth installment in the crime procedural franchise, is a prequel following a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Austin Stowell). Mark Harmon, who played Gibbs on the original NCIS, narrates the series, but he has also appeared onscreen in various episodes. In NCIS: Origins season 3, which debuted on October 6, Harmon officially became part of the main cast. His storyline, which takes place in the present day, recently saw him reunite with NCIS Director Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), who recently rejoined the flagship series as a series regular for the ongoing season 24. TV Insider has now confirmed that Emily Wickersham will be reprising her role as NCIS Special Agent Eleanor Bishop in multiple episodes of NCIS: Origins, beginning with the episode that debuts on October 27. Below, see a video promoting the next episode that was posted the official NCISverse account on Instagram. The video features a scene from the episode in which Gibbs (Harmon) points a gun at an intruder, who turns out to be Bishop. She has come to him to offer him some off-the-books help. The clip ends with a tender moment when he says "gear up" and she reflects that "I never thought I'd hear you say that again." More to come...
