NCAA's FBS Oversight Committee finds replay error marred Western Michigan-Michigan game

Had the protocols been followed, the outcome of the game would have been different.”However, the committee also said that the rules prevent an appeal of the outcome of any game, once the game is declared to be ended.While the statement won’t change the official outcome, it reinforces the unofficial belief that Western Michigan won the game.
