Nazi-obsessed teen girl who described herself as ‘embodiment of hell’ before launching axe attack on stranger jailed

A NAZI-obsessed teen girl who described herself as the “embodiment of hell” before attacking a stranger with an axe has been jailed. Burns then tried to strike Mohammed again but he managed to disarm the teen – escaping with scratches to his neck and cheek. Police arrested her nearby and discovered she had a scalpel and several darts on her. When asked why she attacked Mohammed, the teen chillingly said: “I wanted to cut his neck.” Police later found an email she wrote to a man on a dating app, saying: “Kill all Jews and Muslims in Britain, please.” Burns has now been jailed for 15-and-a-half years after she pleaded guilty to attempted murder and carrying a bladed weapon in a public place. She had denied a charge of engaging in conduct in preparation of terrorist acts, contrary to the Terrorism Act. The Crown argued that despite accepting the pleas, there remained a terrorist motivation to the attack, which was accepted by the judge, Mrs Justice Lambert. Most read in The Sun Passing sentence, the judge said: “I have no doubt that you are a dangerous offender and you remain deeply entrenched in your abnormal belief system. “You communicated with a man on an online dating app which at one stage you expressed the desire to kill all the Jews and Muslims in Britain, and also carry out a plan where you wished to take all the glory for carrying this out. “There were Telegram chats with the Patriotic Alternative, a far-right group. “The leader of the Patriotic Alternative has made highly racist and homophobic comments in public. “You also accessed large quantities of material reflecting extreme right-wing ideology.” Bristol Crown Court heard Burns was a member of far-Right group the Patriotic Alternative. The shaven-headed teen had a “desire for a white England, achieved, if necessary, through terror”. Officers discovered haunting messages on her phone that spoke about carrying out a “plan” because she wanted “all the credit and glory”. She also discussed how she “realised my role in existence: I am the embodiment of hell, destined to annihilate everything holy I bear witness to”. In her diary and notebooks, Burns wrote about Germany, Adolf Hitler and weaponry used by the Germans in World War One and Two. The teen also looked at YouTube videos on Patrick Crusius, who killed 23 people during a mass shooting in a US Walmart, and searched for information online about Jihad, the Southport stabbings, Jewish supremacy and Nazi Germany. There were further searches for “gore” videos – including how to use darts as a weapon and one of a man stabbed to death in the neck. The day before the axe attack on August 2 last year, Burns wrote an email to herself entitled: “The dawn of civil war”. She wrote in it that “land is reclaimed through terror” and it would be “better if they flee out of fear rather than displace us in our own home”. Burns, who had bought an axe from Screwfix on the day of the attack, said she intended to “kill him or injure the man”. She later asked if the attack was “in the news yet” and told police she would “go on again but to succeed” when asked if she would hurt others.
