Fellow righty Max Kranick has been designated for assignment as the corresponding move. Additionally, the Nats relayed that left-hander Tom Cosgrove has cleared outright waivers and been assigned to Triple-A Rochester. Cosgrove had been designated for assignment earlier this week.
