National March for Palestine LIVE: Thousands expected to gather in London

Thousands of pro-Palestine protestors are set to gather in London today for the National March for Palestine.The march, organised by the Palestine Coalition, is expected to see demonstrators call on incoming Prime Minister Andy Burnham to impose sanctions on Israel. The Metropolitan Police has imposed conditions on the march to prevent “serious disruption” under the Public Order Act.According to a message on the Palestine Solidarity Campaign website, the march will “send a powerful message to the next Prime Minister to stand up for Palestine and take all possible action, including sanctions, to end Israel’s genocide.”Follow along for live updates...Where is the protest taking place?The procession is set to start in Russell Square, before marching through Westminster to Whitehall, via Holborn and the Strand.
