Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim’s Elizabeth Holmes Doc Revealed as Telluride’s Surprise Secret Screening

Telluride‘s surprise secret screening on Sunday turned out to be Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim’s Elizabeth Holmes documentary. You Can See Everything had its world premiere at the festival on Sunday night. The event featured the biggest lines of the festival so far, and attendees were asked to check in their phones. The official logline for the doc, from A24, is: “Thirty-four days before she’s sent to prison, notorious Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes invites a skeptical film crew to document her every move. What begins as an intimate portrait of an enigmatic felon becomes a mind-bending three-year journey into the abyss. From boundary-pushing directors Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim comes You Can See Everything.” A teaser was released Sunday night, where Holmes insists: “I’m not that person. I can promise you that. I don’t have anything to deceive you on; of course, I’m not deceiving you. I’m engaging with you as a human being, hm. Why would I deceive you? There’s no reason for me to do that. … I’m always being real.” The movie is set for release in October. Watch the teaser below. Holmes was convicted of fraud in 2018 in connection with her company Theranos, which she claimed could test for various diseases using only a small amount of blood. She was named the youngest and wealthiest self-made female billionaire in the U.S. in 2015 but was later found guilty of defrauding investors as her technology could not do what she claimed.
