Namakkal man arrested for posting ‘defamatory’ remarks against T.N. CM Vijay

Image used for representation The Erode District Cyber Crime Police have arrested a lathe workshop owner from Namakkal district for allegedly posting defamatory remarks against Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on the social media platform X.The police said Thiagu was arrested after he allegedly shared defamatory content targeting the Chief Minister through his social media account. A case has been registered against him under four sections of the law. The arrest is part of the ongoing action by the Cyber Crime Police against individuals accused of posting defamatory content about the Chief Minister on social media platforms.
