The former Light Blues star took to social media to reveal the heartbreaking news as he paid tribute to Ross. Sign up for the Football newsletter Thank you! “Please respect our family’s privacy during this extremely difficult time. “Forever in our hearts my boy.” A host of followers sent condolences to the Rangers hero after he shared the sad news about Ross, whose mum is Nacho’s ex-wife Donna. One wrote: “Thoughts and prayers are with you mate at this sad time. He won three league titles and three league cups alongside two Scottish Cup triumphs during his time at the club. The 47-year-old played for both Raith Rovers and Dundee before his move to Govan and he’s also turned out for Greenock Morton in Scotland. Novo is currently manager of Darvel FC. Michael Mols also left his thoughts and prayers to the Rangers favourite. He wrote: “Unbelievable Nacho. My thoughts and prayers and my condolences.” Popular TV host Laura Woods said: “I’m so sorry for your loss Nacho. Rest in peace your beautiful boy.” Fellow ex-Rangers player Steven Davis posted: “Thoughts with you all at this difficult time.” Grado added: “So sorry to hear this Nacho – absolutely heart breaking. My thoughts are with you and your family.” Ross McCausland, Craig Moore and Maurice Edu also sent their thoughts and prayers as did the official Rangers account.
