Mystery letters flood Emmerdale village – and two residents are enraged

Someone has a lot to say (Picture: ITV/Metro) The village postie delivers a number of letters to a variety of different Emmerdale residents soon, and spoilers suggest the sender may be somehow connected to the deaths of Jimmy King (Nick Miles) and Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley). Earlier this year, Jimmy crashed his car into Dawn and Joe Tate’s (Ned Porteous) wedding marquee. Jimmy died a few hours later as a result of his injuries, while Dawn lost her life after giving birth to her and Joe’s baby son. Through flashbacks, we learnt that Jimmy only crashed because he was forced to swerve his car to avoid hitting Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson). At the time, Vinny was driving his car while video calling Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham). His recklessness saw the vehicle move across the road but, by the time Vinny’s eyes returned to what was in front of him, it was too late. In the days that follow, the peacefulness of a quiet village morning is interrupted when multiple residents receive letters. Up at Home Farm, Joe can’t be bothered to open his and ignores it. Down the road, Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) sees who has written them but swiftly puts the one addressed to her in the bin. Joe and Nicola react badly to their post (Picture: ITV) Time runs out for Vinny this coming week (Picture: ITV) But who are they from? Could they be from Vinny? The fact that Joe and Nicola react so badly to their letters certainly suggests the sender has a connection to Dawn and Jimmy’s deaths.
