Mystery as Paul Gascoigne and daughter Bianca are silent as Mason begs for cash to help partner’s incurable brain tumour

SINCE Paul Gascoigne’s daughter-in-law revealed she is terminally ill with a brain tumour, mystery has surrounded the silence from the famous footballer’s family. This week, Gazza’s son Mason begged for help to raise £320,500 to afford treatment in the US to help extend his partner Jaimee’s five-year life expectency. The Sun has reached out to the Gascoignes who have not confirmed whether they are privately supporting Mason’s family, but a source who knows the family tells The Sun: “It’s obvious there’s been a fallout. Surely, there’s nothing more important? “Instead, it’s Jaimee’s family who are leading the fundraising campaign to reach as many people as possible to raise the money. “You’d think Bianca and Regan would be shouting from the rooftops to try to raise money for their brother. “It looks awful to outsiders and makes you wonder what could have happened that is that bad. A follower said: “This is truly tragic and so unfair, i so hope that that they raise the money needed and that the treatment is successful.” Someone else added: “Horrendous news. I hope that poor girl gets the treatment she needs.” As a world-class footballer, Gazza is believed to have amassed a £20m fortune but after battling mental health, lost his money to debts and divorce costs. He has previously opened up about his guilt during this time while married to Sheryl, who is the mother of his son Regan, who won Dancing on Ice. He adopted Sheryl’s kids Mason and daughter Bianca during their relationship. Bianca found fame on the original celebrity Love Island series. She has gone on to star in Celebrity Big Brother and won Dancing with the Stars in Italy. In June, Gazza appeared on Good Morning Britain to promote his new memoir, Eight. After years alcoholism, the emotional star said he is doing well and is the “best he’s felt in years”. He teared up as he said: “A lot of people have come up and said they’ve read it and how it’s saved their life. “If that book can save one person’s life, then I’ve done my job, I think I should read it myself you know.” The Sun has reached out for comment from the Gascoigne family.
