Mystery as man fighting for his life after being found on zebra crossing outside library in popular UK seaside town

The victim was discovered on the road early yesterday morning as cops launch an urgent probe into how he was hurt. Cops are now trying to work out exactly how he came to be injured in the road. A road closure remains in place while enquiries continue. The man is described as white, around 6ft tall and with short hair. He was wearing a navy zip-up hoodie, a navy polo shirt, dark grey shorts, black trainers and a black watch. Cops are appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened or may have relevant footage to come forward.
