She started her journey in entertainment media in 2022 when she first joined Valnet at CBR before coming to ScreenRant. Jennifer loves TV, especially science fiction. She also loves late-night talk shows, due to her insomnia. Alien: Earth is definitely one of her favorite shows, and she jumps on any chance she gets to write about it. Even on her days off, she will claim an Alien Earth article if one is available. Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are two of her favorite late-night hosts, and Conan O'Brien before he left his show. Her Alien: Earth coverage for ScreenRant is by far the work that she is most proud of so far. She was initially a finance and political editor, but her passion for pop culture convinced her to transition into entertainment journalism. During her off time, she loves to binge-watch cooking shows such as Kitchen Nightmares. Jennifer also loves spending time with her daughter and cherishes every moment of it. Sign in to your ScreenRant account WWE star Adam Scherr could be God of War's next Kratos. After the original star who would be portraying Kratos in Prime Video's God of War, Ryan Hurst, severely injured himself while performing a stunt on set, the show was forced to recast. And, a few days later, a cryptic message from Scherr surfaced on his official X account. The professional wrestler posted a picture of himself dressed like the character with two hashtags, #ImHim and #Kratos. This post caused an uproar on social media, with many fans supporting the casting choice completely. At first, several X users were convinced that Scherr was negotiating a contract with Amazon MGM and Sony about taking on the role in God of War, while many others believed that the athlete was just posting it as a joke or fancasting himself. However, the latter group's opinion may have changed around four hours later. A few hours later, Scherr posted another picture. This time it showed him holding an Amazon visitor pass with a timestamp from a few days ago. The caption of the photo was also very vague. It was just several periods and question marks. However, the fact that he posted a photo with the hashtag #ImHim and followed it up with proof that he met with Amazon mere days ago makes fans believe that the WWE star has officially been cast, despite neither Amazon nor Sony officially confirming it (at the time of this article's publication). Hurst was reportedly injured while filming God of War on Thursday (it wasn't confirmed if the accident happened that day or earlier). Insiders revealed that the actor required surgery after hurting his bicep. As a result, the studio made the difficult decision to recast shortly after, as filming would have been postponed until 2027. The role is also very physically demanding, so Hurst returning to set so quickly would be unsafe for him. Prime Video's God of War is a TV adaptation of the popular video game series of the same name. The series will follow Kratos and his son Atreus as they go on a journey to fulfill his wife's wish to have her ashes spread from the highest peak in the Nine Realms. The series will feature Callum Vinson (Atreus), Teresa Palmer (Sif), Max Parker (Heimdall), Ólafur Darri Ólafsso (Thor), Mandy Patinkin (Odin), Ed Skrein (Baldur), Louis Cunningham (Modi), Sonya Walger (Freya), Island Austin (Thrud), Alastair Duncan (Mimir), Jeff Gulka (Sindri), Ben Chapple (Magni), Evelyn Miller (Gna), and Danny Woodburn (Brok). There is no release date for Prime Video's God of War at the time of this article's publication. Creator(s) David Jaffe, Cory Balrog
