Myles Garrett will not return to practice this week

Published October 28, 2026 05:06 PM A report late last week indicated that Rams linebacker Myles Garrett was on track to practice this week, but that turned out to be off base. Rams head coach Sean McVay told reporters on Wednesday that Garrett will not be on the practice field at all ahead of Sunday’s game against the Chargers. That will be the seventh straight game that Garrett has missed since having knee surgery in the wake of a Week 1 loss to the 49ers.McVay said that Garrett has not had a setback, but that he remains week-to-week when it comes to returning to action. The Rams face the Commanders and Cardinals on the road before a bye in Week 11. McVay also said that tight end Terrance Ferguson will not return to practice this week. Ferguson has missed the last month with an ankle injury.
