Their family has been unable to contact them since an incident in Nepal.Dr Milind Chitale runs a clinic in the Malpa Dongri area of MIDC, Andheri East. The clinic has remained closed since August 24.A notice outside the clinic states that the doctor would be away on the Mansarovar Yatra from August 24 to September 6. The family has been unable to contact the doctor couple following the incident in Nepal. The lack of contact has raised concern among their family members and acquaintances.The family members have appealed to the state government to trace Dr Milind Chitale and his wife, Dr Janvi Chitale, at the earliest and ensure their safe return to India. Nepal is grappling with widespread destruction after flash floods tore through Rasuwa and other parts of central Nepal on Wednesday, triggered by an ice-and-rock avalanche following a glacial collapse near the China border.According to Nepal Police, the disaster has claimed 626 lives, while more than 2,400 people remain unaccounted for.
