‘Multiple victims,’ including two police officers, in Minneapolis shooting

Minnesota authorities said Tuesday that two police officers are among “multiple victims” of a shooting in downtown Minneapolis.The city said the incident took place “in the area of” 15 E. Grant St., which is the site of Loring Towers, a high-rise apartment building. The focus of the response centered on the eighth floor of the apartment complex, where officers armed with long guns kept watch on the building for an extended period, according to CBS News. Two heavy armored SWAT vehicles were staged at the intersection, and ambulances lined both the immediate area and the block leading toward downtown, according to the outlet.
