MagicCon events are always huge for surprise reveals, and the 2026 edition of MagicCon Amsterdam did not disappoint. I attended the Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair-a-thon to get the scoop on all the reveals for the limited print service. There have been some incredible reveals and a huge tease made at the end of the event, but for those who missed it, I've recapped everything shown during the panel, including release dates where possible. It's real! The Hatsune Miku Secret Lair Commander deck has been leaked multiple times over the last 12 months, but we finally get official confirmation that it's on the way. It will be led by Miku. Song of the People, which is Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, so it's no surprise to see that the deck is green and white in its identity. More card previews will be coming soon to give us a better look at the deck, but the deck will drop on the Secret Lair website on August 10, 2026, at 9am PT. Stardew Valley Multiple Stardew Valley Secret Lair drops are coming! A mechanically unique land card named Stardew Valley has been shown off, and it's confirmed that it will be the only mechanically unique card across the three planned drops. Some of the other cards include Dawn's Truce and Wedding Ring. There's a lot of card draw based on these initial reveals, but also some food tokens, life gain, and creature protection. Oh, and of course Sol Ring and Swords to Plowshares are coming too, but with stunning Stardew Valley art. All three Stardew Valley drops will be live on the Secret Lair website on July 27, 2026, alongside a Puca's Mischief foil promo. The Hobbit - Marvelous Mathoms This Hobbit reveal kicks off with Arcane Heist in textured silver ink foil, followed by Stony Silence, which features claymation-style artwork. Another Sol Ring is up next, but more notable is the incredible Diabolic Intent done in a black-and-white heavy-metal art style that wouldn't look out of place on a Black Sabbath album cover. Up next are some absolutely gorgeous food tokens that are unlike anything I've seen before. Each card pays homage to a mealtime, including second breakfast! These will be going straight in my Food and Fellowship Commander deck! More cards are yet to be revealed, but this Secret Lair will be live on August 17. Next is a recap of the Global Fund for Women Secret Lair, which is available right now via print-to-demand! Four Marvel Sets Marvel Pets is up first, a six-card drop including Shark Typhoon, Searing Blaze, Lightning Bolt, Titanic Ultimatum, Ephemerate, and Commune with Dinosaurs. This is followed by a romance-themed drop, which includes Thrill of Possibility with a Rogue and Gambit artwork. We also have The Thing & Alicia Masters (True Love's Kiss), Captain America & Peggy Carter (Savor the Moment), and Wiccan & Hulkling (Run Away Together), Luke Cage & Jessica Jones (Happily Ever After), Thanos & Death (Grave Pact). The third Marvel drop is centered on The Hulk and includes special Hulk artwork on cards such as Unnatural Growth and Anger. Finally, we have the Dann Hipp drop, which includes the first Mister Sinister card as well as an awesome Training Grounds redesign. These cards will be part of the August Super Drop. All August Super Drop sets will be going live on August 26, 2026. Lofi Girl Another huge reaction for the next reveal, which is a Lofi Girl Secret Lair drop. This includes new artwork for Paradise Mantle, Merchant Scroll, and Felidar Guardian, as well as Careful Study and Starfield of Nyx. This Secret Lair drop is part of the August Super Drop. Artist Drops The next Secret Lair reveals cover new cards from artists Gene Luen Yang and Robin Eisenberg. Both drops include stunning interpretations of new cards, each in the style chosen by its artist. Another drop is revealed following the art of Ian Miller, which includes the iconic Shivan Dragon in an incredible color-contrasting design. There's also a version of Korvold, Fae-Cursed King in the same art style. These cards will be part of the August Super Drop. Masters Of The Universe Secret Lair Teased The final reveal, or tease, of the Secret Lair-a-thon showcases some artwork of characters from Masters of the Universe, including He-Man and Skeletor. No further details or cards were shown for this tease. Franchise Magic: The Gathering Original Release Date August 5, 1993 Publisher Wizards of the Coast Designer(s) Richard Garfield
