Motorola's Android 17 rollout just got another expansion

Today, Motorola announced that the update would roll out to more phones, including Razr, Edge, and Signature devices (via Android Authority). Like many other brands, it was only a matter of time before Motorola introduced more AI elements to its devices. The aim is to make it more compelling by utilizing all your data to create a more cohesive experience. Motorola states it wants users to be able "to ask urgent questions and a knowledge base that features all of their saved files, preferences, and synced cross-device information." Motorola wants this type of communication to span across devices, which means Motorola phones and Lenovo PC products. This won't work with all apps and services, but we're sure support will improve over time. Of course, we're not sure how many people will have both devices on hand for this to work. But at least if you have a Motorola phone, you can still get some powerful features from Qira. Search through all your important data to find that one snippet of information you need. Or ask Qira to become your secret weapon at work by having it transcribe work meetings on the fly. You can even use Qira to create custom artwork for wallpapers, stickers, and avatars. Something new Credit: Motorola In addition to the news above, Motorola shared its new device at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit by debuting the Motorola Signature 27. This device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, a new 2nm flagship chip, and is the first time it has been seen in a phone. While this is exciting, there aren't many details. Motorola did share that this phone will come with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 910 main sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. Perhaps the biggest news from the announcement is Motorola's commitment to seven years of software updates. Although this is pretty much standard for brands like Google and Samsung, Motorola has been severely lacking in this department for years. Seeing it go the distance with the Signature 27 is a welcome gesture. There is no pricing or arrival date, so we'll just have to wait and see.
