MORRISONS has rolled out a major change to hundreds of its convenience stores across the UK in a “significant milestone”. The supermarket giant, in partnership with Snappy Shopper, offers shoppers home delivery from a number of its Morrisons Daily stores across England and Wales. After a successful pilot that took place in five sites, currently, 100 Daily stores are linked with Snappy Shopper, giving thousands of customers access to the fast and convenient delivery service. A further 100 Daily store locations are set to launch the delivery service in 2027. Shoppers living near a Daily store that offers the speedy service can order their groceries through the Snappy Shopper app. There, they can pick up Morrisons Savers products, own-brand lines and multibuy promotions, with free delivery for all orders over £35. Morrisons group online director, Charlotte Exell, said the company was “pleased to expand” the partnership between Snappy Shopper and Morrisons Daily stores. She added: “This rollout gives households in England and Wales even more convenient ways to get fresh food and groceries from Morrisons delivered straight to their door.” Most read in Money The Snappy Shopper app allows customers to order from local convenience stores, ideal for shoppers needing a quick order of essential items and groceries. The platform aims to complete orders within 30 minutes and recently introduced a 24/7 delivery service. CEO of Snappy Shopper, Mike Callachan, said the expansion of the partnership highlights “the strong performance of the partnership to date and our shared ambition to make fast, reliable grocery delivery available to even more customers”. “By combining Morrisons Daily’s trusted convenience offering with Snappy Shopper’s technology, we’re helping retailers grow online while providing shoppers with greater choice and convenience,” he added.
