Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it intercepted and destroyed an advanced MQ-1 drone over the Strait of Hormuz. The Tasnim news agency cited the IRGC as saying that the aircraft was targeted on Monday by the country's advanced air defence system. Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said US President Donald Trump was sending "mixed" signals. "The stakes around oil and the straits have changed. Damage control won’t stop what’s coming. No talks until Iran’s conditions are met. Period!" he added in a post on X. Saudi-led coalition air strikes in Yemen's south western Taiz province killed three people, including two children, the Houthi-run al-Masirah TV reported. Two others were wounded in the attacks. Meanwhile, the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen said that 13 civilians were injured in Houthi attacks targeting Saudi Arabia's cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha and Taif on Monday. Israeli forces shot dead a 54-year-old Palestinian man during a dawn raid in el-Bireh in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported. Emergency crews initially treated the man, identified as Ziad Mohammed Jaber, at the scene for gunshot wounds to the abdomen and thigh. He was subsequently rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
