Royal Mail deliveries take place every day of the week other than Sundays. First-class mail is delivered the day after dispatch while second-class post should arrive two days after. A Royal Mail spokesperson said: “We have more than 3,000 postcode districts across the UK. To keep customers informed, we publish details of the local offices currently affected by temporary delivery issues on our service update page. “The postcodes listed cover the areas served by the delivery office and do not mean that every address within them is affected. Our posties are still out delivering every day, but some individual routes may experience short-term delays.” Comment now
