GARDENERS’ World host Monty Don already has a new job after quitting the BBC show — modelling £250 trainers. The 71-year-old, who is leaving after 23 years, is the face of a new range of New Balance shoes. New Balance said the link-up with the TV host follows the launch of the Flimby Garden, created by Bleue Burnham at the sports firm’s factory in Flimby, Cumbria. The Bleue Burnham shoes, in brown pigskin suede, go on sale tomorrow. They will also come out later in black leather.
