Mon Laferte Hit In The Face With Phone Thrown By Fan At Las Vegas Show

Some days I really just don't understand people. I can't imagine what has to go through someone's brain to think that throwing a phone at someone while they're performing on stage is a logical idea. That's what happened to Chilean-Mexican singer-songwriter Mon Laferte at her show on Thursday, Nov. 5, which took place at Palms Casino & Resort in Las Vegas, NV.Fan videos captured the moment when she was struck by the phone. It hit the left side of her face, near her eye. In one video, it looks like the fan who tossed the phone was videotaping while they threw it. The fan was kicked out, and Laferte continued the show after being attended to by her team. The US leg finishes tonight in Los Angeles.Mon Laferte also posted on social media after the incident in Spanish, which reads in English as: I'm okay ? the girl didn't mean any harm, but please don't throw anything onto the stage ever again ?Tomorrow and the day afterSee you at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles! And that wraps up the US tourI love you all ❤️Some fans love to throw things at performers, which maybe makes sense if it's a soft object like a scarf of a flower. But the rise in phone throwage is getting out of control. Bebe Rexha was famously hit by a phone near her eye in 2023; she needed three stitches and the concertgoer was arrested. This year both Riley Green (in Melbourne) and Bring Me The Horizon's Oli Sykes (in St. Louis) were hit in the head by thrown phones. This has to end. Shocking video shows a cellphone hitting Mon Laferte in the head after it was apparently thrown by a concertgoer during the Chilean-Mexican singer's Las Vegas show. The audience member who recorded this video said Laferte continued the performance after the incident. pic.twitter.com/WzqSo4D66E— ABC7 Eyewitness News (@ABC7) November 7, 2026Estoy bien ? la Chica no lo hizo con mala intención, pero no vuelvan a lanzar nada al escenario nunca más ?
