THIS is the moment a mischevious bride pranked her groom by sending his best man down the aisle in a wedding dress. Gavin, 36, hugged his friend, asking “what the f*** are you doing?” before joining in on the joke and giving him a quick peck. Bride Rachelle, 33, had planned the prank at Invercarse Hotel, Dundee in Scotland on Friday, August 10. She bought the frock for £20 on Amazon after seeing the “first look” trend online and deciding she wanted to have some fun with it. She quickly roped in Darren while maid-of-honour – and Darren’s fiancee – Jenna Whyte, recorded the moment. “I didn’t want my song, because I didn’t want to take away the special moment between us,” Rachelle said. “I think it was ‘Here Comes the Bride’ – and Gavin started to panic because the wrong song was playing. Most read in Fabulous “All the bridesmaids were at the back of the ballroom, waiting to come in, while this was all happening. “The guests were just howling – nobody knew what was going on. All of our guests are up for a laugh all the time – it went perfectly.” While Rachelle was waiting in the wings, she heard the guests laughing, as her maid-of-honour recorded the scene. The clip later went viral online, gaining thousands of views on TikTok. The couple, who have been together for eight years, celebrated the rest of their “perfect” day alongside friends and family. Rachelle and Gavin added they are thrilled to be able to attend Darren and Jenna’s own wedding in the autumn.
