VIDEO footage has revealed the moment murderer Vickrum Digwa told his mother to take the knife he used to kill Henry Nowak away from the crime scene. Digwa, 23, was jailed for life with a minimum term of 21 years on June 1 for the murder of Henry, after falsely claiming the 18-year-old racially abused him. Last month, The Sun revealed Nowak’s killer would have his “lenient” jail sentence reviewed after the case sparked fury across the UK. Henry was knifed five times with a 21cm ceremonial sword by Digwa in a sick attack in Southampton last December. Solicitor General Ellie Reeves has referred the case to the Court of Appeal under the unduly lenient scheme, saying it “horrified me”. She said: “This case horrified me, and I know that feeling is shared by the British public. “It is right that difficult questions need to be answered about the way the police handled Henry’s Nowak’s murder, while my role is to review Digwa’s sentence for his crimes.
