Sufina Aslam, 42, targeted her neighbour's home in Yardley, Birmingham, persistently over a period of seven years. Shocking footage released this week but taken earlier this year shows the mother repeatedly tipping bin bags full of rubbish into a garden already filled with litter. In separate clips, she is seen hurling cooking pans full of oil next door and proudly smirking while peering over the fence. It was heard at Birmingham Magistrates' Court that Aslam's neighbours were left with no choice but to fork out £4,000 to clean up the mess and repair damage to their family home. The mother-of-seven pleaded guilty to two counts of harassment and one of breaching a restraining order, but avoided jail. Aslam was instead handed an intense 12-month supervision order. Prosecutor Fahad Gazge told the court: 'Dirty nappies, sanitary towels and food were thrown over the garden fence. There was banging on the walls and shouting through the walls.' One of the victims, a 50-year-old who preferred not to be named, said in an impact statement that Aslam's campaign of harassment had left her having sleepless nights. My children's education is affected. It's a constant mental torture for all of us. I panic when I hear her voice.' Another of Aslam's neighbours added: 'This has been going on for six or seven years and we're sick of it. 'It has happened in all hours of the day and night. She's now stopped for about six months and doing nothing.' District Judge Michelle Smith said an 'intense supervision court order rather than custody' was appropriate in this case but warned any more offending could see Aslam jailed. She was also ordered to pay £70 to her neighbours.
