Moment GMB’s Richard Madeley calls out co-host after she’s late for the weather bulletin – and admits she was in the LOO

GOOD Morning Britain presenter Richard Madeley was quick to call out his “vanishing” co-host Laura Tobin after she was late for her weather segment. The ITV host, 70, was all set to hand over to the meteorologist, 44, after one of the commercial breaks during Monday’s episode. He said: “We have a vanishing weather girl,” to which his Good Morning Britain main show co-presenter Ranvir Singh, 48, then said: “Oh!” Sign up for the TV newsletter Thank you! He continued: “Laura is supposed to be here to do the weather … echoing silence!” Ranvir said: “Where is she hiding? She will be here in a minute,” before she attempted to move things along by previewing the upcoming debate segment. Richard interjected and said: “Here she is! Here she is” as Laura scooted onto set. Laura’s tardiness comes just weeks after fellow GMB favourite Kate Garraway was forced to sneak back onto the sofa after taking a toilet break. Most read in Showbiz During her on-air mishap last month, Kate said: “I’m so sorry. “I took a little bit too long in the shower, in the loo,” before covering her mouth with her hands as she started laughing. Recently, the pair’s fellow daytime TV anchor Ed Balls suffered a similar mishap as he failed to make it to set on time, citing the longer distances to the bathroom from GMB’s new studio at ITN on Gray’s Inn Road. The show’s fresh surroundings have caused fury with some, with staff “mutiny” over rules including a toaster ban. Some have also slammed the studio as feeling like “constant winter” while an evacuation forced GMB to be pulled off-air in March. Comment now
