The baffled cop asked: “Can you explain for me why, in four lines of traffic, that are quite busy at this time of day, that you thought steering a motor vehicle on your P’s, with your knees, while you buttered a bagel, would be a great idea?” The man, who was on a provisional licence, immediately confessed to the bagel blunder. He said: “I know that was stupid, but I was hungry.” “[I] Have been working since this morning“, he added.
