When a pan caught fire in Dr Shivangi Joshi’s kitchen, he sprang into action, with CCTV footage capturing his attempt to contain the flames and prevent them from spreading.Joshi shared CCTV footage of the incident, showing how the delivery worker reacted when a fire broke out in her kitchen. The footage began with Joshi going to the door to collect her parcel. Meanwhile, a pan left on the kitchen stove began emitting smoke before suddenly catching fire. When Joshi noticed what was happening, she appeared stunned and struggled to react to the situation. The delivery worker, who had arrived at that very moment, quickly stepped in rather than walking away. He rushed towards the kitchen and began fanning the flames in an attempt to control the fire and prevent it from spreading. He also turned off the gas supply, helping bring the dangerous situation under control. What could have escalated into a serious accident was averted by the man’s swift intervention. Joshi later shared the footage, describing the incident as one of the most emotional memories of her life. In her caption, Joshi recalled how the delivery worker had come to her home to drop off a parcel the previous night, unaware that the visit would become so significant.“When my kitchen caught fire, I couldn't understand how to control it. He just came in and helped me without a second thought, reminding me that humanity is still alive today,” she wrote.Joshi also reflected on how people are often judged by their appearance, profession or occupation, even though these have little to do with their courage or compassion.“He literally became my saviour and I genuinely appreciate his selflessness,” she added. The doctor admitted that she might never find the perfect words to thank him, but said she would always remember what he did.“Some people deliver parcels. Some people deliver hope when you need it the most,” she wrote.Watch the video here:The video has gone viral with over 7 million views and tons of comments praising the gig worker.
