The Dauphin Street Beer Festival, which was to take place Saturday after being postponed from Oct. 3, has been canceled. According to the event’s Facebook page, refunds will be issued to ticketholders.Mobile’s Fall Market in the Park, which was to take place Saturday in Cathedral Square, has been canceled.The Great Alabama 650, a 650-mile race for kayaks, canoes and paddleboards, has been called off mid-race. The event, which began Oct. 3, finishes near Fort Morgan. Organizers said that “the difficult but necessary decision had to be made in an effort to keep all racers, crew, staff, and volunteers safe.”The monthly LoDa Artwalk, which was to take place Friday evening in downtown Mobile, has been rescheduled for Friday, Oct. 16.Mobile Latin Fest, which was to take place Saturday in Mardi Gras Park, has been rescheduled for Sunday, Oct. 18.The Mobile Symphony Orchestra has announced that it will reschedule its season opener, “Spectacular.” Performances were planned for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 10-11. New dates will be announced soon, the MSO said Wednesday.Wynterfest, a local music festival that was to take place this weekend in Mobile, has been postponed.
