Mobile application to provide government services in Andhra Pradesh

Government services will be made available through the ‘AP One’ mobile application, which is being developed to eliminate the need for people to make repeated visits to government offices, according to CEO of Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) Prakhar Jain.Speaking after inaugurating a two-day RTGS workshop for officials of various departments to create awareness about the mobile application on Tuesday, Mr. Jain asked the participants to ensure that the services were delivered seamlessly, without technical difficulties or unnecessary hurdles.Under the guidance of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and RTGS Minister N. Lokesh, more than 1,000 government services were already being provided through the Mana Mitra WhatsApp Governance system, which received a positive public response, he said.The ‘AP One’ application, the next phase of digital service delivery, would bring services onto a single platform. “It will initially be launched with around 150 services across departments, and more will follow based on citizens’ requirements. It will have a search bar and be available in Telugu and English. Citizens will also be able to download various certificates through the application,” Mr. Jain added.RTGS Executive Assistant P.
