The club was also fined an undisclosed amount. MLS said in a statement that clubs and their head coaches are "subject to escalating fines and a head coach suspension for repeated violations" of the policy, which says teams must be ready and on the field for scheduled kickoff times of both halves of a match. Hoyos will serve his suspension Saturday when Miami hosts CF Montreal. Hoyos, 63, took over the head post at Inter Miami on an interim basis when Javier Mascherano stepped down April 14. A native of Argentina, Hoyos is close to Miami star Lionel Messi after helping discover him for Barcelona early in his career. --Field Level Media
