Miss North Carolina USA Dethroned Over “Conduct Over an Extended Period of Time”

Looks like there’s been a shake-up over in The Miss USA Organization, which just announced that Miss North Carolina USA 2026 Brittany Boltinhouse was dethroned less than a month after winning the title on June 28.Chairman and CEO Thom Brodeur announced the news in a statement, writing that Miss USA “does not tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia nor language that strips any person of their dignity.” He added, “A title here isn’t a trinket. It is a position of trust, extended by an organization and accepted by a woman who agrees to carry a standard in public. When that standard is broken, the title cannot continue as though nothing happened.”Brodeur didn’t give details about what happened, but said, “What was brought to us was not a single moment. It reflected conduct over an extended period of time.
