MIS-TEEQ have sensationally SPLIT just one week after their reunion concert – and star Sabrina Washington is already going solo. But, for Sabrina at least, a one night stand really ain’t enough, as she’s revealed that – while the band is over and has no plans for more gigs or new music – she’s hitting the road as a solo artist. Speaking exclusively to The Sun, she said: “We have had such a massive year together and I’m really proud of what we achieved. “We got to come back 25 years later, perform together again and finish with a sold-out Wembley show. It was a really special way to celebrate everything the three of us created together. For me, though, I wasn’t ready for the celebration to end there.” Sabrina will embark on her own tour set to kick off in February next year with the singer performing the records she helped create and record including Scandalous, All I Want, One Night Stand, Why and B With Me, alongside solo hits including OMG, Make It Hot and Don’t Call Me. For her A One Night Stand Just Ain’t Enough shows, Sabrina hopes to recreate the atmosphere of a noughties night out, with DJs, dancers, special guests, surprises and familiar faces from the UK Garage, Pop and R&B era joining her at different dates. Sabrina’s announcement comes after Alesha was confirmed as a new co-host of The Voice UK, while Su-Elise is heavily tipped to enter the I’m a Celebrity jungle later this year. I recorded them, I wrote many of them and I have so many memories and stories attached to them, as do the people who grew up with us. “I’ve performed the Mis-Teeq songs throughout my solo career, but Wembley reminded me just how much love there still is for them. Now I get to celebrate that music in my own way and take it much closer to the people who have supported us for all these years. “I want it to feel like a proper night out.
