An F/A-18 Hornet aircraft based at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego crashed Saturday afternoon approximately 55 miles southeast of Seattle after the pilot ejected safely, the U.S. Marine Corps said. The crash was reported around noon to the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office.
