Published July 27, 2026 11:20 AM Patriots receiver A.J. Brown has had some knee issues in the past, which were reportedly a factor in the Rams electing to pass on trading for the wideout. Brown and the Patriots’ brass have dismissed those concerns over the last couple of months, with head coach Mike Vrabel again expressing that sentiment during his Monday press conference. “I think a lot of things get fabricated, and people tell stories,” Vrabel said, via Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald. “We’re very confident in where he’s at physically. He’s done every single thing. Will he do every single thing? Nope. … But I think he’s gotten off to a really good start, both mentally and physically, and acclimating himself to his team.”Brown, 29, appeared in 13 games for Philadelphia in 2024 before playing 15 games in 2025. Last season, he caught 78 passes for 1,003 yards with seven touchdowns.
