That time off is a good thing for the Knicks as they anticipate the injury return of OG Anunoby who was able to be a full participant in practice, as per Stefan Bondy of The New York Post.OG Anunoby suffered a hamstring injury during the Eastern Conference Semifinals, and he was sidelined for Games 3 and 4 of the Knicks’ series against the 76ers. But according to the update from Knicks’ head coach Mike Brown, Anunoby is positively trending towards being available for Game 1 of the East Finals.Game 6 between the Cavs and the Pistons is scheduled for Friday, and with the Cavs leading the series 3-2, it’s possible the Knicks find out their East Finals opponent by the end of the day. Getting Anunoby back is crucial for the Knicks’ hopes of getting out of the East and making it to the NBA Finals.During the team’s playoff run prior to the injury, Anunoby had appeared in eight games at a little over 35 minutes per game.
