AFRICAN migrants are planning another invasion of Ceuta in just days – with online posts warning it may be “our last chance” to enter Europe. But reports say the peninsula could see scenes of mayhem play out on the streets yet again, as plans are being made for another mass border crossing on August 15. The revelation of the messages and posts – written in Darija, an Arabic dialect spoken in Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia – has sparked major concern in Ceuta. It also comes after Spanish cops claimed today at least a dozen convicted terrorists were among those who went across the border last week. Radicals previously deported to Morocco after arrests in Spain were part of the mass crossing, local outlet El Espanol reported. The Spanish territory is still reeling from the “apocalyptic” scenes last week. Up to 70,000 migrants were believed to have entered the city during the frenzied ordeal. Over 48,000 have been frogmarched back across the frontier by Spanish cops and military personnel. But there are currently an estimated 5,000 migrants, including nearly 1,000 children, remaining in the Spanish territory trying to dodge the security sweep. Distressing pictures have shown dozens of North African youths sleeping on the pavement on makeshift beds made out of cardboard boxes. The children will most likely end up being transferred to the Spanish mainland to ease overcrowding in Ceuta. The city is already caring for some 850 children, but is planning to expand its facilities with two more centres as the number of youngsters is expected to rise over the coming days. Several police clashes also erupted last week amid the chaos, and at least 72 people were killed due to drowning or the resulting beach stampede after the migrants crossed into the Spanish territory. Golden Owl, an Alicante-based tech startup, is among the organisations which have sounded warnings about the possibility of a new mass border breach in 11 days’ time. It has linked 25 Facebook groups to the social media campaign that allegedly led to thousands of people joining the rush to reach Ceuta last week. This includes a man from the Moroccan city of Casablanca living in Istanbul. It was made in a group with about 108,000 members and remains active, Golden Owl added. Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez has blamed last week’s crisis on human smuggling mafias taking advantage of a recent Spanish Supreme Court ruling. The decision banned summary returns of migrants intercepted in open water attempting to swim into Ceuta, or the other North African enclave of Melilla, 240 miles east. Both territories endured days of chaos during the never-before-seen security breakdown. Jaw-dropping footage showed swarms of people running up the shores of Ceuta and Melilla before pouring through the streets. Terrified locals cowered in their homes as the streets turned into open toilets for hours in “apocalyptic” scenes. Some migrants were heard shouting “Long live Spain!” as they dried off in the city. Shocking reports claimed several locals suffered from attempted break-ins at their homes as footage captured multiple alleged incidents. One showed a man climbing up a ladder as two others held it still around what appeared to be smashed glass from a first floor window. A second seemingly showed dozens of migrants bundling into a small home and pushing through the tight entrance. One Spanish business owner told RTVE: “It’s like an apocalypse.
