Migrant arrested after woman finds stranger lying next to her in just his PANTS after ‘breaking into her home’

A MOROCCAN migrant has been arrested after allegedly breaking into a woman’s home and climbing into her bed in just his underwear. The unnamed suspect, one of an estimated 70,000 migrants who stormed the Spanish enclave last month, was arrested nearby. He was due in court today charged with breaking and entering, with officials expecting the case to be dealt with through a speedy trial. The shocking incident emerged overnight as Beatriz spoke of her horror, while her son blasted politicians claiming life in Ceuta is returning to normal after the mass border breach. The drama unfolded shortly before 8am yesterday at Beatriz’s fifth-floor apartment on Paseo de las Palmeras, or Palm Promenade, in central Ceuta. Speaking to a local TV station after the arrest, the Spanish woman said: “It was a nightmare. This man has jumped over the balcony, got into my bedroom and got into my bed. “I thought it was my husband, but when I turned over I discovered a stranger in his underpants in my bed. He fled the same way he came in. “Thank God I wasn’t alone. Thankfully, the police responded very quickly and were able to arrest this man. “Later today a speedy trial is due to take place, but I’m still in a state of shock. “Someone who breaks into your house and gets into your bed into his underpants can’t have good intentions. “I feel as if I’ve been attacked as a person and as a woman.” Beatriz’s son Nacho described the extraordinary events in a social media post and thanked police for their swift response and arrest. He then turned his anger on politicians, including Spain’s Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska. He said: “Who do they want to deceive? “This is not a feeling of insecurity. A stranger has entered my home and got into bed in his underpants next to my mum while she was sleeping. This is the reality. “Today she’s been able to recount it. Who will be the next? How long will we have to put up with this? “We have been abandoned and we need help.” It comes as Ceuta braces for another surge of migrants to storm the enclave by speedboat. Alicante-based tech company Golden Owl believes August 15 has been earmarked for the invasion. It discovered mafia-run social networks offering places on a boat for around €14,000 (£12k). Sources from Spain’s National Intelligence Centre also confirmed the information, according to local media. Golden Owl claims the new method will shift focus from swimming to the use of Zodiac boats. The inflatables are often used by drug runners because they are powered by engines and capable of travelling at high speed. The plan allegedly involves a “crowdfunding” offer stating: “Whoever has 15,000 dirhams (£12k) should come down to Fez. “I’ll sell my motorcycle, and we’ll pool the funds to buy a Zodiac and use it to enter Ceuta. That way, they won’t send us back.” Open recruitment on online forums is a deceptive tactic often used by criminal networks. Golden Owl has linked 25 Facebook groups to the social media campaign that allegedly led to thousands of people joining the rush to reach Ceuta last week. Spain’s Ministry of the Interior said it is prepared for a potential invasion. Comment now
