He threw for 3,973 yards and 34 touchdowns with six interceptions. His 76.6 QBR was the 19th in the nation. Senior running back Mark Fletcher Jr. is expected to be a dynamic force in the offense. The workhorse back carried the ball 216 times last year for 1,192 yards and 12 touchdowns, averaging 5.5 yards per carry. Edge Damon Wilson II and wide receiver Cooper Barkate have also joined the fray. Former Michigan senior quarterback Davis Warren finished 22 of 34 for 310 yards and one touchdown. Junior running back Micah Ford racked up 25 carries for 99 yards and three touchdowns. The Cardinal will be without five key players, including three offensive line starters, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel. Left tackle Niki Prongos, guard Simione Pale, center Aidan Kilstrom, wide receiver Nico Brown and edge rusher Gabe Kaminski will all miss the matchup.
